The problem we address

A working professional today has to secure the data they handle, use artificial intelligence without exposing their clients, comply with the GDPR and produce accessible documents. What is on offer falls into three families, and none of them really fits.

• General-purpose course platforms offer content "for everyone", which never mentions your trade and measures nothing credible.
• Corporate awareness programmes are bought by an employer and imposed on employees: they are out of reach for a freelancer, a tradesperson, a private practitioner or an elected official.
• Free public resources are excellent, but scattered, not structured as a progression, and with no assessment or record of what has been learned.

Three things are missing at once: examples that speak about the real job, an honest measure of what has been learned, and access that does not depend on an employer.

What we are building

A subscription platform where each course is a series of short slides punctuated by quizzes, personalised by the job you declare, and whose level is measured by three quizzes (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert), each of which, once passed, yields a dated certificate valid for twelve months.

Our principles

The job comes first. Scenarios are written per job family, not generated by swapping a word inside a template sentence. It takes longer to write, and it is the only way not to waste the reader's time.

Measurement is the product. Three levels exist from day one, with a public marking scheme identical across every course. The level shown is the highest one passed, with the best score and its date. No composite score, no opaque weighting.

Verifiability rather than promises. Every published figure carries its source and its date. Every course states who wrote it and who reviewed it. Our production method is published on the our method page.

Progress that does not manipulate. Experience points, badges and a daily streak, but no countdown, no manufactured scarcity, no loss of what you have learned if you unsubscribe, and no sales email triggered by your progress.

What we refuse to do

• Manufacture social proof. The service has only just opened. You will find no testimonial, no rating, no client logo and no learner count on this site : because there are no real ones yet.
• Publish a figure without a source. If we cannot cite the publisher, the address and the date of a piece of data, we write the sentence without the figure.
• Invent an endorsement. No person, no qualification and no partnership is mentioned unless it exists.
• Let anyone believe we are something we are not. Skillrung is not a registered French training body and awards no professional certification. Our courses are not eligible for French public funding.

Who writes

Courses are written by the Skillrung editorial team from the publications of French and European authorities, then reviewed by a named professional from the field concerned. Where that expert review is still under way, the course page says so explicitly: we never put a name where there is not yet a person.
