Courses that speak about your job, not an average job

A security instruction written for “employees” says nothing to anyone in particular. Choose your job among 0: the course text names your tools, the people you deal with and the data you really handle.

In brief

Skillrung covers 0 jobs grouped into 0 families. The job you choose changes the examples, the tools mentioned and the scenarios in the courses, never the material taught nor the level required in the quizzes. The choice is optional, can be changed at any time, and gates no content. The first four slides of every course are free, with no account and no bank card. From the fifth onwards, a subscription is required.

See the site adapted to your job

The examples, the tools named and the people involved change with your job; what is taught stays the same. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

Nothing is saved until you confirm. You can change your choice at any time.

Your choice is remembered in a preference cookie kept for 180 days, set only when you confirm. It serves only to adapt the examples and gives access to no additional content.

How it works

Two personalisation mechanisms, and only two

We would rather name them: it avoids suggesting a course entirely rewritten for each job, which would be untrue.

The dynamic fields

Five elements of the text become yours: your workplace, your main digital tool, the authority that concerns you, the data you must protect and the people you usually deal with.

The blocks written per family

The examples, case studies and scenarios are written by hand for each job family. Without a written variant, you read the generic version, which is complete.

What personalisation does not do

It adds no slide and removes none, it does not move the free boundary and it changes no marking scheme. Two people in different jobs take exactly the same quiz.

The reference list

The 0 jobs, by family

All are selectable and all personalise the content. None is reserved for a higher plan.

Free or paid

What you can read without paying

Frequently asked questions

Personalisation by job

What exactly does choosing my job change?

Two things, and only two. The dynamic fields first: the place, the main tool, the reference authority, the data to protect and the people mentioned in the text become yours. The blocks written per family next: the examples and scenarios are rewritten for your job family. The material taught is identical for everyone.

My job has no detailed page. Am I less well served?

No. All 58 jobs personalise the content in the same way and give access to the same courses. Only the presentation page differs: we write one in depth only when we really have something specific to say, rather than duplicating a template.

Do I have to choose a job?

No. Without a choice, you read the generic version, which is complete and stands on its own. You can choose your job later, change it, or never state it. The job opens and closes no content.

What is stored when I choose my job?

Nothing until you confirm. On confirmation, a preference cookie kept for 180 days remembers the job chosen. If you have an account, it is also saved on your profile so you do not have to start over on another device.

Are some courses reserved for certain jobs?

Some courses are written for specific job families and are highlighted on their pages. They are reserved for no one: the single subscription gives access to every published course, whatever the job stated.
